Swimming Enthusiasts

You will love our 25 meter

outdoor pool!

In addition to several aquatic exercise classes, Peak provides Red Cross Swim Lessons, Summer Recreation Swim Team and even a US Master's Adult Program.

Our outdoor swimming pool is closed for Winter 2008.

We look forward to offering our aquatic services to you again in May 2008.  Please visit our site again in Spring 2008 where you will find information on our Red Cross Swim Lessons and our Summer Recreation Swim Team.

Dear Peak Performance Members & Swimmers:

As a life -long swimming enthusiast and Peak Swimming Coach for the last 11 years, the news I am about to share with you is personally difficult but necessary.

After several years of trying to make two swimming pools work out financially, I have come to the unfortunate decision that we must shut the indoor pool down.  Simply put, the combination of excessive repair and maintenance expenses has become too costly.

Peak will continue to offer outdoor swimming with the programs and services we currently provide, (summer swim team, USA swim team, swim lessons and adult programming.)

We hope to raise enough capital over the next six months to renovate the outdoor pool and purchase a removable enclosure, which will in turn provide swimming for 12 months out of the year.

The facility which currently houses the indoor pool is now the home of the Parisi Speed School, the industry leader in youth sports enhancement.  In addition, a focus will be made toward areas of the club which have shown to be in high member demand.  Upcoming additions will include: tennis court renovations, a new group exercise studio, locker room upgrades and a larger, more interactive children's nursery.

Obviously, anyone who has joined the club for the primary purpose to swim may either cancel their membership or if paid in full, be reimbursed their remaining amount of money.

I am sorry to have made this decision but for the best interest of the club, it needed to be made.  I promise to do whatever reasonable to bring year round swimming back to Peak as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

John S. Collis III, Ph.D.
